Part of my Scattered Saturday was a visit to Joseph Putrello’s Barista Bar.
I mentioned my hopes of going there earlier this week. Perhaps you read my blog post about it. First, however, my friend Kim and I went to visit my parents in Rome. For one reason, we wanted to see their Christmas tree, which was purportedly fatter than any previous evergreen. We had a nice visit, and discussed where we would go next.
“Don’t you want to go to the bistro?” my mother asked. We did!
We did drive back through Utica to Joseph Putrello’s Barista Bar. We drank espresso and hot cocoa, and ate cannolis and gingerbread cookies. Yum!
When Kim went to sip her espresso, she noted that her preferred method of holding the cup hid the logo. I persuaded her to post with logo showing.
It was a delightful interlude, whether you remember the difference between a baristro and a bistro or not. I can only hope it makes for an adequate Scattered Saturday Post.
