Mmmmm… Tomatoes!

I recently had a conversation with a co-worker about how much better homegrown tomatoes taste.  Of course they are best out of one’s own garden, but a farm stand or farmer’s market can be an acceptable second.  Last Sunday I went to And Stuff of That Nature to feed my fresh tomato appetite.

Right there, inviting me to buy something!

The stand is handily located on State Route 5, between the Frankfort Bridge and Watkins Road.  There is space enough on the shoulder to pull over; you only have to be a little careful getting out on the driver’s side.

There are many choices available.

There are many vegetables to choose from, but tomatoes were what I mainly wanted.  I could also have gotten honey or a hanging basket of flowers or a dozen eggs.  Well, it isn’t that far from my house; I can easily return for more fresh goods.

Lots of choices!

I was tempted by the hanging baskets but was skeptical of my ability to remember to water one  This is another reason I am not as disappointed as I might be about not achieving my container garden.  In years past I have remembered to water.  These days I question myself.

And Stuff of That Nature is located at 3759 State Route 5, Frankfort, NY.  You can follow their Facebook page for updates about items available.
