It is late for me for posting, but I want to try to make a Wrist to Forehead Sunday post. Of course I have little to blog about and little brain to blog with. Also, I do not feel up to searching my Media Library for the picture of The Brain from the Planet Arous, which I usually like to share on these occasions. What, oh what, will I blog about?
I was able to find this shot from The Brain That Wouldn’t Die. My brain obviously would and did die. Now I am slipping into Monstrous Monday mode but hope by tomorrow to have regained some brain power and have a bit better of a blog.
Tomorrow is a Monday holiday for many, thanks to the blood and sweat of the labor movement. Not for everybody, of course. I worked on Labor Day for many sad years in the retail industry and sometimes while in the army. I know many first responders and health care workers do not have the day off. I mention it in passing, this being a Sunday post, and in the past it was my legitimate reason for me swooning, dramatically posed with the back on one wrist to my forehead. Oh woe! Tomorrow is Monday!
What is my excuse these days, you may ask? I have no excuse. But I shall swoon when I decide to. My only regret is that I do not have a chaise lounge to swoon upon. I hope to make a swoon-free blog post on Monday.

I can’t help thinking that special effects were less demanding in the days of black and white. 🙂
They were better before CGI took over and in many cases took the place of plot and character. And don’t even get me started on Ai! Oh dear, now I sound like a boomer!
I like books rather than screens (unless I need the extra light) so I can understand a preference for old-fashioned effects over CGI. It just makes you sound like you have a passion for something. Anyway, speaking as one, what’s wrong with boomers? 🙂
Good point. In fact, I am on the cusp between Boomers and Gen X, if we must put a label on me.
If I were to put a label on you, there are others to consider long before GenX and Boomer . . . 🙂
I don’t know how to put laughy faces on my chromebook, but I am laughing.
Laughter is always good. 🙂
