Have I got time to make a Lame Post Friday post before I leave the house? I will be perfectly honest: I got nuthin’. No brains, no ideas, just a vague headache and the feeling that I am about to do something wrong. Or I have just done something wrong. Or I forgot to do something. Do other bloggers have these problems? Perhaps there are other ways of dealing with them than whining about it in a silly blog post.
I threw in a silly picture to lighten up the mood. I have been trying to make some progress in cleaning my house. Then I can do fun things like put my ducks in different arrangements. I hope to make better progress as I go. It might be worth a blog post, but I shudder at the thought of posting “before” pictures.
I branch off into theatre with a picture of a rehearsal of a murder mystery we did last year. I am polishing a script for the next one. The three people pictured are in the cast.
I add one more murder mystery picture for your entertainment. I see I am over 200 words. I guess I haven’t said much, but it is Lame Post Friday after all. I hope you are all having a lovely day.

I never had the courage to get involved in drama but it looks like fun! You have a lot of ducks. I wonder if you have ever seen this video, not sure if it will link so it is on Youtube, look up James Veitch, The Bit with the Ducks. I think you would appreciate it.
If there is a community theatre near you, I encourage you to get involved. You could always do backstage stuff, but you never know: you might get up on stage and love it!
“Perhaps there are other ways of dealing with them than whining about it in a silly blog post.” Are there? Every day is a lame post day for me, but sometimes I surprise myself. The trick, as with my marriage, is to work with people who have low standards, hen they think you are quite good. 🙂
Well, I don’t know about the low standards part. Maybe generous standards, and the gentle willingness to give someone a break. We probably need to give yourselves a break sometimes.
I remember once seeing someone write that we should judge ourselves by he standards we use for others, as we often expect too much from ourselves.
For a minute, I thought you had one guy in the same picture twice. Are they related? Glasses, Moustache guys?
No, but the same guy is in two of the pictures.
