Not a Lame Shout-Out, I Hope

Now look what I did! I forgot to make my Lame Post Friday post and now it is almost nine o’clock Saturday morning! I suppose that is not so late to some people, but I keep early hours. I slept in till six and went running by 6:30. The sun was already up, so it was unusual for me. Never mind. Let me get on with making Some Semblance of a Post (that really ought to be a category for me).

I threw in a picture to pep things up. This was at Pumpkin Junction in Sauquoit, NY, in October of 2016. I am hoping to take a drive over there today. I need a little Halloween.

It is a pretty awesome place.

I might as well give Pumpkin Junction a proper shout-out while I’m at it. They are located at 2199 Graffenberg Rd., Sauquoit, NY, phone number 315-794-4604. They have pumpkins, gourds, decorations, costumes and more!

I have to call to make sure they are open. I would think they would be on October 1st, but it is well to make sure of these things.

Yes! I called just now and they are open every day from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. till Halloween! LET’S GO!!!

Wuss-out Whining

Sorry, friends, it’s Wuss-out Wednesday. I must be getting old or something, because overtime is really kicking my butt. I managed to go for a short run this afternoon, and it was not fun. I couldn’t even manage a full cool-down walk.

Oh dear, that was a whiny paragraph, wasn’t it? I’m not having a horrible evening; I just don’t feel capable of making a good blog post. It’s too bad, too, because I was going to share pictures of the RCIL Character Brunch last Saturday. Well, perhaps I can do that tomorrow or the next day.

In the meantime, I want to make some semblance of a post now, because I do NOT want to try to post tomorrow morning. It is hard enough to get to work by 4:30 a.m. Aaaaand there I go whining again!

Tomorrow is Halloween. We have that going for us. Full Disclosure: I intend to continue watching Halloween movies as long as I can get away with it. I am hoping the weather will not be as heinous as the meteorologists are predicting. Rain and wind. Yikes!

As my friend Bruce says, don’t whine; WINE! I’ll have a sip or two before bed, I think. Not too much, though, or I will really be whining tomorrow!

Stylus Typing on Wuss-out Wednesday

It seems as if I just recently took a Blogger’s Sick Day, but I can’t find the last one by scrolling through my posts. Then again, if I’m not feeling well, how can I trust my scrolling and looking abilities? Never mind. I like to be a daily blogger, so I will attempt to make some semblance of a post.

And that was where my laptop froze up. Twice. So now I’m on my Tablet, typing one letter at a time with the stylus. As usual, I am fascinated by the anticipatory thing. But it’s no way to write.

I try to pep things up with a picture. My dear friend Marsha sent me the pot recently. My husband, Steven, gave me the vampire in a coffee mug (I think I used a picture of it a day or two ago).

Today I am not a morning, afternoon, or evening person. But I have another new Halloween picture to share.

I love a business that decorates!

I took this picture at White Rose Bakery in Little Falls, NY. I was writing a story for Mohawk Valley Living magazine. I hope they print it. However, I knew they wouldn’t use this picture, because the story is for the November issue.

This stylus typing is not for me. But at least I made some semblance of a post.
