Because I Felt Like It

AAAaaand we’re back to late blog posts.  My computer does not like the way I spelled “And,” but it is the way I said it in my head.  Also, we learned in junior high school English class never to start a sentence with “and,” “but,” or “because,” so ha ha on two counts.  I am in a kind of a rollicking mood this morning, and I intend to make a Non-Sequitur Thursday post.

It’s not hump day either.

I looked for a random photo and decided on this camel from the Utica Zoo. I guess the picture would be more appropriate for Wednesday, so you can see what a rebel I am.

These signs should be posted on my mind.

I searched for a while to find a “Do Not Enter” sign.  As regular readers know, whenever I am walking or running and encounter a sign that says “DO NOT ENTER,” I enter.  It makes me feel like a rebel.  Oh, I know, they are talking about vehicular traffic, not old ladies plodding along at whatever pace I can manage.  Give me a break; I have to get my chuckles where I can.

Herman is horrified that I am making my Thursday blog post on Friday.

I cannot make any promises about making my Lame Post Friday post on Friday.  Then again, I rarely make promises (but I often make typos) (I say that because it took me three tries to type “promises”) (but I digress).  I see I am approaching 250 words.  What, oh what, can I come up with for a headline?

Have I Over-Used the Word “Monstrous”?

Since I did not have a Monstrous Monday,  I thought I would make a Mid-Week Monsters Post.  I feel moderately pleased with myself for making my Wednesday post on Wednesday.  It is Wednesday, isn’t it?  I get in such a time warp sometimes. My watch says it is Wednesday.  Phew!

Wait, why am I saying, “Phew!”?  It is still only half-way through the week!

Am I over the hump?

I guess these are not monsters, but they have to do with a great monster in the movie Young Frankenstein.  It took me a while to find this in my Media Library.  I need to index that thing.  And maybe find some new monster pictures.

Puttin’ on the Ritz!

Well, that took a long time!  I searched for a new monster picture, sticking with Young Frankenstein.  I don’t know which took longer, searching my Media Library or searching for something new.  This is monstrous!

I went back to my Media Library but could not find anything from Young Frankenstein and could not settle on anything else.  My indecisiveness continues to plague me.

Perhaps I am rather monstrous.

As in an earlier blog post, I went another way.  I was unsuccessful in downloading a new photo (although I did find one).  Then I could barely decide on something from the now infamous Media Library. Now my Tablet’s charge is getting low.  What a monstrous time I am having!  But as usual in my life, the problem is operator error.  I neglected to plug in said Tablet earlier.

On the brighter side, I am over 250 words.  And three pictures.  Not too monstrous, I hope.

Monsters Help Me Over the Hump

Believe me, I saw the hump!

I promised myself I could do a Mid-Week Monsters Post, and I especially wanted to use the photo above. I really don’t have a whole lot to say other than, “Yay, I’m over halfway through the week!” But that’s all right, because all I have to do is find monster pictures in my Media Library. Yay monsters!

They were a lovely couple.

Instead of a movie monster, I share Bridezilla and her Groom from the Halloween party at Herkimer VFW last October. After they posed, Bridezilla had to laugh at herself, because she was smiling for the picture behind her mask, as if we could see her.

Another cute couple.

Continuing with non-movie monsters, here are our skeletons Bonaparte and Bonita. Bonita is in her Halloween outfit. It is just about time for her to put on her Easter outfit. And for us to put away our Christmas decorations, although I don’t like to rush into anything.

Death takes a bow,

This handsome fellow was also at the Halloween party at the VFW. I thought it would be a good picture to close with since he seems to be taking a bow. As a well-known theatre geek, I love a good curtain call.
