I do not know why this should be a Tired Tuesday. I did very little today and accomplished almost nothing. Perhaps it is reaction from my busy weekend, going places in cars then having an MRI on Monday (oops, possible HIPAA violation), then more riding in cars. Of course I am very grateful for the rides. But never mind all that. I need to make a blog post.
Today was Primary Day and I voted. I know, the last time I voted I took a selfie with my “I Voted” sticker. I meant to do that today but when I got home from voting, I felt singularly deprived of oomph. In fact, I started making this post on my phone, because I did not even feel I could sit up and reach for my Chromebook. However, I managed it. I wanted to continue the post I started, but the only option available to me was “Quick Edit,” which I do not know how to navigate. Enough of my blogging problems.
This was the first time I drove anywhere since June 4, when I paid my water bill and ate at Yetty’s. It was perfectly fine driving. Then I walked carefully on crutches into the VFW to vote. The fellow there gave me two stickers, because they had two kinds. I felt I deserved two, since it had taken such an effort to get there. I know, I know, other people expend much more effort. I am reminded of the story of the Iraqi grandmother who was pushed I-forget-how-many miles in a wheelbarrow (but it was a lot) so she could vote. And I don’t think they have very good roads in Iraq.
Arriving home, I put my stickers in the TV Journal. I took a picture, because I feel I am overusing my Media Library lately. On the brighter side, I drove myself somewhere. I can drive myself someplace else, I am sure. Can Mohawk Valley Adventures be far away?
